“Plant your Dreams and let them Grow” is the title of Sophia’s Georgopoulou self - promotion project and her wish for 2011! The actual tulip flowers and their “unique” names (e.g. “Red Emperor”, “Pink Diamond”, “Sweetheart” etc.) inspired the designer to create a series of ecological and interactive packages containing tulip bulbs. The packages were sent as gifts to friends and clients and offered them a unique experience by telling them to “Plant their Dreams”, take care of them and see if they will grow (and come true) the following year.. The illustrations created on the packs were inspired by the name of each “unique” tulip and were drawn by hand.

Think I’m going to make the switch to Field Notes, since I’m rather disappointed with Moleskine as of late. Plus with the release of the new Field Notes Colors: Northerly makes the transition a nice one.

Has tumblr fixed the queue yet? It’s one of the reason I don’t post cool artsy stuff anymore. Just easier for me to do it in batches. Which was awesome when the queue worked properly but I stopped when it wouldn’t post anything from my queue.

I didn’t want to see that bug picture. I knew I would be creeped out. So I made every effort to not look at it when it was posted by tons of people in my twitter feed. I even scrolled past it quickly when I got a glimmer of the carrot on my facebook feed. But dammit tumblr why did someone have to post it on tumblr for me to see in all its glory on my dashboard. I can’t unsee that crazy ass bug and now I need like a bleach shower and a fire exfoliate just to get the creepy crawlies off of me.
Thank You my psychologist bill will be in the mail.
