I love a good rebranding, and I also love when people for the fun of it, rebrand well know companies. However what I don’t like is when it’s not done well. This rebranding of the Nasa logo is nice but it also shows a lot of what not to do.
It’s very difficult to read letters that are cut off half way. This effect would work if the “S” was not cut off at the point it was cut off. So if you aren’t reading it properly you see Naca instead of Nasa.
I don’t particularly like the arc that was used either. It’s not a circle and more oblong. So if it was to look like a planet or moon the effect is lost.
It’s nice and has potential but I don’t think it works for NASA logo.
